early birthday goodies?

today is 1st may. but i'm already getting my bday pressies!!! whee~
dinner was nicely prepared by daren, with the pre-marinated (he cheated lor) chicken and kangkong, served along with a bottle of french red wine. the wine was sweet on the tip of the tongue but with an after-taste of blah blah blah... sorry i'm never able to fake an uppity image. haha.
then at night, andrew sent me an msn msg saying, 'hey grace, let me know when you're back. i've got a surprise for you!' well i thot it's 31028 or 02202 related, but he popped by my room presenting me with a pot of daisies! how sweet!
then i heard another knock on my door. it was rajib, my pakistani neighbour in container u. he asked, 'is it your birthday today? i heard some guy saying that at your door just now.' so he's been eavesdropping me! i got a bar of chocolate as my compensation, i mean my present. haha. i clarified with him that my birthday is on sunday but he wished me anyway.
what nice surprises to tuck me to bed tonight!
